TOEFL iBT is a four hour, internet-based test designed to measure a candidate’s ability to use English in both casual and academic settings. And to it’s credit, this latest version of the TOEFL exam is the most natural test to date: students who memorize vocab lists and complicated grammar rules will not necessarily receive a top TOEFL score. Instead, students who do well are those who demonstrate fluency and confidence in their written and oral language skills.
